Crescent Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Crescent’s mission is to offer a range of health and wellness services for anyone and everyone seeking health care in Greater New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana.

Crescent Care has a goal of providing uninterrupted health care services during long-term grid outages. Crescent Care is part of the Community Lighthouse effort led by Together New Orleans. The Community Lighthouse is part of a broader push among community groups and environmental justice advocates in Louisiana to create facilities which provide reliable power during grid outages.

The Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) provided by Current Energy Storage is a MG 125 – 220 kwh system.

Current Energy Storage has also provided the battery energy storage systems to Household of Faith and New Wine Christian Fellowship projects in New Orleans, which are also part of the Community Lighthouse initiatives.
