About the Project: LinkedIn’s new Omaha headquarters is an innovative workplace of the future. The 200,000 square foot fully dynamic environment, reflects their vision of a workplace designed for an enhanced employee experience, and a resilient future.

The C-BESS 125kW is the first energy storage system to be incorporated into a LinkedIn site. In addition to the energy storage system, 38% of the building’s power comes from renewable sources including an on-site solar PV array that includes solar canopies over parking spaces that provide 13% of the building’s energy. Incorporated into the parking are 20EV charging stalls and 50 priority parking spaces.

The Energy Storage, PV and EV chargers are all components of the high priority placed on sustainability for the new office. The building also incorporates reclaimed wood, low VOC paints, domestically sourced furniture, efficient water usage, and a strong recycling program. As a result, the building carries LEED gold and 2 Star Fitwell certifications.
